The announcement text: Company:Fieve Clinical Services, Inc., is a private clinical research center that has earned a reputation as on of the most experienced, reliable study centers in the US for conducting research trials of new compounds in Phase I-IV of their development. (Prozac is an example of a compound we worked on). FCS works with many of the major pharmaceutical companies (Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Bristol-Myers etc.) and helps these companies test and develop new drugs for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder (manic depression), post traumatic stress disorder, panic disorder, migraine headaches, hypertension as well as others.Internship Description:The main focus of the internship is to assist in screening and recruiting clinical trials patients (who call our clinic after seeing our ad in the newspaper or on TV) and/ or coming up with business development ideas for the research center, creating financial projections etc. The interns will participate in a clinical trials training program (which includes reading training manuals, parts of the DSM-IV manual, research protocols, entering and filing patient data and occasionally sitting in on patient interviews). Because of the small size of the clinic, interns will be exposed to the clinical side of the company (from the doctors and clinicians), the regulatory side (from the Manager of Clinical Operations) and the business side of the company (from the Managing Director).Requirements:We are looking for individuals who are interested in pharmaceutical research or medicine, pychiatry, public health, or business management/ development (under 12 employees), or sales. On behalf of our EPC client we are recruiting for a Civil and Building Works supervisor who will interface with local subcontractors & the Client and MUST SPEAK FLUENT GERMAN.
