We are currently seeking a tactical manager for a major player within tour operations based in the South you will be accountable for all Tactical and Promotional Activity undertaken by the tour operator and to be accountable for ensuring that all Tactical and Promotional activity is delivered accurately and to the required deadlines.
o Be responsible for co-ordinating all Tactical and Promotional Activity for all markets worldwide
o Responsible for maintaining an ongoing activity schedule for all T&P activity
o Validate and verify any trade offs that have to be made to deliver all T&P activity accurately and to the required deadlines.
o Ensure robust processes are in place to ensure accuracy of activity i.e. appropriate checks are carried out within own team and by Audit Team
o Run weekly Tactical meetings to allocate work amongst the team ensuring that changing priorities are accommodated * flag to Head of Product if team resource is insufficient to achieve all desired activity
o Measure success of Tactical and Promotional activity against objectives and understand which online tools are most effective for different markets.
o Manage any blockages*technical problems that are identified
o Validate and verify pricing strategy for T&P activity and highlight budgetary impact to relevant Commercial Manager, relevant Regional Product Manager and Head of Product
