Job Title: Document Controller*Secrerary*administrator - Leighton Buzzard, Beds Permanent Salary: £15,000 - £25,000 depending on experience Based: Leighton Buzzard Length: Perm Ref: GC*DC*LB18*10 Large design and build defence project involving the following disciplines: civil*structural, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation. Being delivered by a collaboration of three contractor companies Wide role providing administrative support including assisting with document control for successful project delivery, initially for the design phase but could be extended to include implementation Typical Tasks: Administration of all project registers and information systems, e.g. correspondence, documents, TQ*RFI, Design Reviews records, Scope * Design Change requests, etc. Issue and receipt of documents following formal procedures. Print*scan*copying of documentation. Diary and travel management Technical Skills & Experience : General IT competency in MS-Office e.g. MS-Word – preparing documents & tables etc MS-Excel – use of formulae and charts etc. Previous experience of document control using computer based system would be an advantage and a conscientious, methodical approach to tasks would be expected. Preferably with experience of working on heavily regulated projects, in a secure environment Further requirements: Will require candidate to undergo security vetting checks including criminal record review and the take-up of at least three references who have known the candidate for at least 3 years.
