A great opportunity has arisen for an IT administrator who is ambitious and hardworking who wants to join one of UK`s leading independent specialists in their field. Your role will be to Install, configure, and support the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system, maintaining the network hardware and software ensuring service to the users. You will also provide 1st and 2nd line user support on all computer systems.
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 2 years commercial skills using NT4 Server, Windows XP, ISA server, TCP*IP, Exchange 5.5*2000*2003, Veritas Backup Exec 7.3 and MacAfee TVD. Ideally candidates with any web development experience and all the above skills including any of the following i.e Cisco 2900, 3600 config (CCNA*CCNP) is an advantage. In addition candidates who have experience of web development using ASP will be highly favoured. You must be motivated, ambitious and happy to join a small team where you will have the potential to establish yourself within this very established company. A competitive salary is on offer.
