This is an excellent opportuniy to join a dynamic corporation with EMEA Headqtrs in Dublin. Excellent understanding of Oracle 8i and 9i , supporting VLDBs on a 24x7 basis. Experience supporting Oracle Applications 11i or CRM applications such as Siebel. Experience carrying out complex DB & Application upgrades. Data modeling experience. Working knowledge of Web servers - iAs, Apache, Websphere,BEA etc. Familiarity with Data replication, data and disaster recovery concepts & technologies. Experience setting up and supporting HA systems - VCS, 9i RAC etc Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing proposals or papers, acting as a vendor liaison, making presentations to customers or professional peers, and working closely with upper management. Skilled at producing meticulous documentation. Ability to use innovative ideas to solve problems in a cost effective manner. Strong problem solving skills, Focused on tools, automation and working smarter. Good project management skills. Interested in strategic planning and new technologies, a high potential, self directed learner. Excellent customer service and team skills.
