PERSON SPECIFICATION Technical * Business Skills: (e.g. Systems Development, methodologies, IT Components, Email, Neg. Terms & Conditions etc.) Essential: Oil industry domain knowledge (Exploration and Production, preference to production experience). Hands on experience in managing large scale change programmes with specialist expertise in formal change management frameworks and techniques General understanding of the oil and gas industry, asset life cycle and its operations Comprehensive understanding of the Smart Fields vision, concepts, methodologies and tools Experience in facilitation, negotiation, conducting interviews, and distilling data from such sessions. Highly developed people skills Ability to work as part of a distributed global team. Ability to work in a challenging political environment.
Desirable: Understanding of multiple international cultures. Knowledge of oil industry workflows and common best practices. Understanding of systems thinking (e.g. systems integration, deconstruction, and gap analysis) in developing solutions.
Interpersonal Skills: (e.g. oral & written communication, customer liaison, team player, etc) Essential: First class customer facing and interpersonal skills A professional manner with the commitment to own a job until the customer is satisfied and the job completed Must be a team player, with the ability to lead, motivate and delegate appropriately to project team members Excellent oral and communication skills Must be approachable, diplomatic & politically sensitive with strong leadership qualities
