Software Development Engineer - Chalfont, Bucks
Software Developer with experience of C# programming, MS Windows development (Win 32*64), and .Net technologies, required for global leader in access infrastructure for the on-demand enterprise, based in Chalfont, Bucks. You must also have experience of WinForms and multi-threading, and should have a good Computer Science degree or equivalent, plus relevant industry or internship experience. Skills*knowledge in any of the following also desirable: C*C++*Java programming, Oracle*SQL Server development, COM, SNMP, WMI, XML, Management Consoles (e.g. MOM, Openview, Tivoli). You will be working as a programmer in the Management Services development group, within an experienced team of skilled software engineers, and will be responsible for coding and testing software programs under limited supervision. Additional responsibilities include developing new features and functions depending on business need. You will also be responsible for providing work estimates and determine methods and procedures on new assignments. You may be required to provide leadership on projects of medium to large scale and provide technical guidance to other engineers. This role would be suitable for either a graduate developer with some industry experience gained in an internship or an existing developer with 2 - 5 yrs experience. Salary £24-35k pa + benefits.
