IT Architect - London - £up to 70k plus benefits
Our client, a market leading insurance institution, requires an experienced and professional IT Architect. Reporting to Senior Manager, the role will be to define the standards and architecture for IT systems whilst providing a vision for IT. Candidates will be responsible for defining and agreeing standards, policy plans and architecture for IT systems and applications, ensuring technology architecture delivers value and enables suppliers to be managed. Candidates will provide technical and architectural advice, technical, architectural and strategic input, evaluate business applications software, support development of IT policies and assist in implementation of IT governance. Candidates will have at least 10 years insurance industry experience, a strong ability to analyse business requirements in a systems context. Technically candidates must have experience of designing technical architecture, designed and developed applications, strong integration skills with strong technological understanding. Commercially candidates must have strong project management, planning and communication skills with strong background of report writing. A good degree is preferred.
