These are excellent, senior level appointments based in a major blue-chip organisation. The scope for career development and exciting, challenging work is unparalleled.You need to have excellent account and relationship management skills coupled with a flair for managing the delivery of major IT projects and the continued support and service provision dedication following delivery. You will be facing off to the customer to ensure that they receive an outstanding level of service, at the right price and following this through to ensuring that they are completely satisfied once the projects are completed and in place.It is likely that you will have come from a project or programme management background.
The Account Service Managers need to have experience in dealing with major, complex & large-scale projects and programmes.Service management skills are essential and you must be able to offer cost effective options to the customer.
The following skills are essential - * service management OR delivery speciality * minimum 7 years management experience with excellent leadership & motivational skills * about 7 years experience developing & managing key customer relationships. * excellent negotiating skills & ability to drive down costs. * project & programme management experience Desirable - * ITIL qualified
