Our client,a major financial institution, requires a subsidiary accountant for a period of 3 months, possibly longer. You will be responsible for preparing monthly accounts for a number of subsidiaries not accounted for on the Groups Oracle General Ledger. Main tasks will include maintaining a cashbook, preparing an Excel based general ledger, producing monthly management accounts, posting month end balances on to the Oracle GL, preparing VAT returns and year end statutory accounts.
You will ideally be a newly qualified accountant with a recognised accountancy body and possess strong all-round accounting knowledge from book-keeping through to statutory accounts preparation. You will be an excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
