Software Developer C++ design and development on one of Win, Mac or Unix*Linux platforms Cambridge
with significant experience of electronic publishing systems to join client?s electronic documents group, to assist in ongoing development of products and solutions for electronic document management systems based on PDF technology and page description languages (PDLs) across multiple platforms. Occasional international travel may be required.
Essential skills and experience
Analysis, design, development, and maintenance of software for the groups products
Approval (code review) of other developers? software within the group
Contribution to direction through group design discussions
Consultation with other groups
A degree in Computer Science, or equivalent formal training
Minimum of 5 years C*C++ software design and development on one of Windows, Macintosh, or UNIX*Linux platforms
Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
Knowledge and experience of working with and developing around Page Description Languages, preferably including PDF
Familiarity with at least one of Windows XP, Linux, Mac OS
Highly motivated to provide complete solutions to customers
Knowledge of Pre-press or Electronic publishing systems
XML and parser development skills
