Our Client is part of a multi national, multi million Blue chip manufacturing organisation. Their focus is on serving their leading clients, many leading organisations and they have a strong market positions in the supply of FMCG goods. We are currently recruiting a Senior Personnel officer* Human Resources officer for this client based in the Lancashire area. Reporting to the Personnel Manager, the successful candidate will have responsibility for all day to day departmental activities, as well as being a key member of the site management team in delivering the site and Personnel Strategy. You will be involved in constantly reviewing & improving the activities of the Personnel function to ensure continued support and contribution to delivery of the Site Strategy. Providing an effective Personnel service to the site, in line with Company policy, legislation and best practice. Managing and co-ordinate training and development activity on site and in conjunction with Head Office, ensuring that development needs are identified and met effectively.
? Ideally you will have 3 years + experience within Human Resources*Personnel ? experience working within Unionised environment (desirable) ? Manufacturing experience (desirable) ? Preferably have your CIPD qualification ? Enjoy working in a team based environment ? Be professional, friendly and committed to your role ? Confident working at a senior level ? Have proven ability in managing a team. ? Candidates must also have a proven track record in dealing effectively with a variety of employee relations? and development issues. ? Innovation and continuous improvement are a key element of the Strategy
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who has an enthusiastic and confident approach who wants to develop their leadership skills .
Salary £20-25,000 + benefits. Ideally this role will be a 3 month contract, with a view to going permanent. An immediate starter would be ideal.
