Key responsibilities and accountabilities
To instruct 1st*2nd*3rd*4th year apprentices in Mechanical engineering techniques (primary allocation 3rd*4th year Mechanical : maintenance fitters and precision machinists).
To organise for allocated apprentices and others as appropriate, NVQ instruction, oversight and documentation.
To provide progress, efficiency and disciplinary reports as required for allocated apprentices.
To participate in Company recruitment and Prize day activities as directed by Team Leader.
To oversee apprentice sporting activities.
To undertake the team leadership role for key skills training at Wye Dean and Green Park.
To optimise and organise underpinning knowledge training for allocated apprentices
Qualifications Required
Craft apprenticeship or equivalent HM Services training.
BTech ONC or equivalent.
Experience in the appropriate trade group.
NVQ with in your designated trade area A1(2) and V1 units
Inter-personal and training skills.
Sports fit.
Use of PC
