A rare opportunity for either an HVAC or Electrical Engineer to join this international multi-disciplinary as an Engineering Manager.
This office is working predominantly on education projects as they are involved with the Building Schools for the Future programme and also work on university projects. They are also investing heavily in software enabling them to take on more work in the sustainable market including thermal modelling and timber frame constructions.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the design team and project management. You will be overseeing several projects at a time and have responsibility for ensuring that relationships with clients are developed and their needs met to encourage repeat business. You will also need to make sure that your teams are working closely and coherently with teams from other professions throughout the project. It is also likely that you will be charged with mentoring other design staff through the project process ensuring that they fully understand the importance of working closely with the client.
