As part of the Core Engineering organization, your mandate is to lead a varied team of engineers within the disciplines of Design, Airframe and System Stress, Weights and Standards.
You will provide coaching and mentoring as well as technical leadership and guidance.
You will play an important role in hiring and developing talent for the Aerospace Product Development Center (APDC) via the New Graduate program and local*international hiring.
You will lead and manage the Engineering Standards group who provides support to the product development and sustaining engineering communities in Montreal.
You will promote and further develop engineering best practices via Engineering Boards and improvement of engineering methodologies and tools.
You will also support the development of outsourcing strategies and lead their execution in the areas of Design, Stress and Weights.
You will oversee Strategic Technology projects and develop plans to kick-start new projects with the aim of preparing technologies for insertion on future product development initiatives.
