In order to support my clients growing Platform Systems business they have an opportunity for a Project Engineer, within the Engineering Department, who will have responsibility for:
?Defining the project engineering organisation for a contract, its responsibilities, and its interfaces, with relation to customers and projects.
?Developing and maintaining a technical scope document to serve as a continuing basis for project cost estimates and budgets.
?Planning, monitoring and controlling resource requirements and controls to support the engineering work.
?Ensuring that the engineering process produces high-quality results.
?Ensuring that the design complies with all legislation and prime contract conditions.
?Conducting periodic engineering management reviews to assess the effectiveness of the design process, and use the results to improve the design process.
?Making technical presentations to the customer.
?Providing engineering support in the field to facilitate coordination during commissioning.
?Providing engineering support to Procurement.
?Identifying scope changes and trends in a timely and documented manner to the Project Manager.
?Developing and implementing an effective performance metrics program.
?French language essential, both written and spoken.
In order to be successful candidates should have an Engineering Degree, Chartered Status would be a distinct advantage. At least 5 years experience of working in a project engineering position is needed together with strong Presentation*Communication skills.
