A renowned International Construction Consultancy is seeking to appoint and experienced Senior Consultant to work within their specialist Contractual and Dispute team with their London office.
You will have initially come from a Quantity Surveying * QS * Cost Management * Commercial Management background either having initially worked for a Quantity Surveying * Cost Consultancy or a Contractor but will have now moved into the specialist Dispute * Contractual advice sector.
You should have the following qualifications * attributes:
- Over five years experience as a Quantity Surveyor * Cost Manager
- Hold a BSc in Quantity Surveying or related degree * diploma
- Have a professional membership; MRICS, MCIOB, MACostE, MinstCES
- Have professional legal qualifications * memberships; LLB, LLM, MCIArb, MSc, Member of the Association of Expert Witnesses
- Been appointed as a Quantum Expert on various assignments
- Have experience of managing major construction claims
- Have experience of preparing and representing on adjudications
- Have experience of giving key contractual and procurement advice.
The work is almost a 50*50 split between contentious and non-contentious and the client base is predominantly client focused with some work also undertaken for major main contractors. There is the possibility of travel both in the UK and overseas.
You will be joining a growing business unit within a growing construction consultancy. There are genuine prospects to climb the ladder for ambitious, hard working individuals.
