CMK is an award-winning developer of premium-quality consumer, enterprise and education software. We create Mac and Windows software under contract for western publishers, as well as software products under our company's own "Software MacKiev" brand name (see www.mackiev.com).
We are looking for a full-time Web developer to join our top creative team and participate in the development of our world-famous software products. The ideal candidate will be able to apply their creativity and expertise to work with the Product Management team devising Web-related features for our existing desktop products, and collaborate with the development teams in implementing those features.
The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in creating commercial Web 2.0 applications (should be able to provide links to past projects on the Web)
- Proficiency in HTML 5, AJAX technologies, JavaScript and DOM for popular browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, FireFox, Safari, Opera)
- Familiarity with current Web 2.0 trends and directions, desire to develop that knowledge and apply it in practice
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Any experience in development of desktop applications and/or familiarity with C/C++/C#/Objective-C would be a plus
