An eight person architectural design firm located in Soho is seeking an architectural graduate for an internship to work on a pro-bono project for a new dance academy. We are to digitize the drawings of several buildings to provide initial design concepts, feasibility studies, reconstruction costing and fund raising. The exercise offers the candidate the opportunity to develop practical architectural skills, while working on buildings that form an interesting part of NYC history.
This is an unpaid junior position, for an internship of 3-6 months, which may lead to a full time paid position when the efforts to secure the buildings for the dance foundation will be successful.
AutoCad fluency is required, with knowledge of Form-Z, Rhino and Photoshop a plus.
