Large NYC law firm is seeking an Application Developer for it IT Department. The position requires 5 years of IT industry experience with a background in application development with strong concentration on the web platform. Also needed are 3 or more years experience in developing and supporting web based software that includes integration with Active Directory , databases, and various legacy systems. Solid experience creating database-driven dynamic web sites using: ASP.Net (1.1, 2.0 and 3.5) using both C# and VB.net, ASP, VB Script, Java Script, CSS, XML, and Web Services. Must also have a concrete understanding of Web Application Architecture and Object Oriented Languages. Must have a working knowledge of managing content and developing application and solutions using MOSS 2007 development. Experience designing and developing databases in MS-SQL Server 2005 and 2008, including demonstrated knowledge of SSIS packages and Stored Procedures. Must have a strong understanding of database design.
Compensation: $100k and up based on experience
