We are looking for a couple talented individuals to join our compound identification program and assist Paramount in our in-licensing activities. Not only would these internships provide invaluable work experience, but could result in a fulltime position after graduation. Please note that we have in-licensed more than 50 compounds in the past 3 years and are one of the largest, most successful players in the space. Below is a more detailed description of our company:
Founded in 1991, Paramount is a unique drug development firm and life sciences investment bank. Paramount dedicates its own capital to seed companies through formation, the in-licensing of drug candidates and the initial stages of product development. Through its NASD-registered broker-dealer affiliate, Paramount raises additional funds from institutional and high net-worth investors, typically taking its affiliated companies public and gaining them exposure to the investment community. Paramount’s experience in developing life sciences companies allows management to remain focused on the development of drug candidates rather than building infrastructure. Paramount believes that its model helps limit developmental delays occasioned by management distraction and facilitates management effectiveness.
