Hiya. We are a well established fitness and wellness studio brand with two locations in Manhattan, and we are looking to hire one individual to compliment our administrative/reception team. Our services are predominantly one-on-one training services in mind/body type fitness techniques like yoga, Pilates, and Gyrotonic exercise - so experience with or understanding of these techniques is preferred. You also need to be friendly and personable by nature, with experience dealing with clients/customers in a retail or service environment. We are a fast paced, professional, but also fun place to work - and you will learn and grow along with the job.
The details of the job:
- 20-25 hours a week, including some evening shifts (4-9pm) and at least 1 weekend day shift (10am-4pm)
- $10-$12/hour starting rate with a potential increase in 3 months
- You will likely be working shifts at both of our locations
- Your primary duties will center around client relations (making appointments, taking payment, dealing with inquiries, etc), studio atmosphere maintenance (light cleaning and tidying up), and office administrative tasks (filing, creating flyers/studio signage, etc)
Needed skills:
- REQUIRED: Familiarity with MS Office suite (word, excel)
- PREFERRED: Familiarity with MS Publisher
- PREFERRED: Familiarity with MindBodyOnline, SpaBooker, or other studio management software.
