Are you looking to join an exciting new company? This may be the opportunity for you. 3GenLabs is a New York City startup building a new web based SaaS application targeted to Fortune 1,000 and top internet companies. We are looking for a junior software engineer with 0-4 years of experience in either: C#, C++, or Java, to join our engineering team in New York City.
This position will be working closely with our back-end engineers in building applications and services for our system utilizing C#, .NET Framework, LINQ, WCF, and SQL Server. You will have the opportunity to learn about all these technologies and receive real life experience in building and designing multi-threaded application, unit testing, design patterns, different data structures, and more.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience in one of the following languages: C#,C++, or Java
- Knowledge of object, component methodologies and technology
- Knowledge of classes, components, objects, interfaces, and key design patterns
- Willingness to learn and utilize emerging technologies
- Knowledge of basic relational database concepts
The following skills are a plus:
- Experience in C#, .NET Framework 3.5 , Linq, SQL.
- Experience in writing multi-threaded applications and services
- Experience in developing and integrating with WCF and/or other Webservice frameworks
- Proficiency in dynamic scripting languages like Perl
- Experience in writing client/server applications is a plus
- Experience with Windows Networking libraries (Wininet, WinHTTP) and socket programming
