Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist
Location: Avon, South West
A dynamic national consultancy require a graduate Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with at least 3 – 5 years experience in ground engineering who would be keen to develop their expertise further in the ground engineering sector. The candidate will be working on major projects throughout the UK. You will have the following qualifications and experience:
First degree in Civil Engineering or Geology
Preferably a MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar subjects
Strong foundation, basement, earthworks and ground treatment design skills
A good understanding of ground investigation techniques and its importance to deriving appropriate design parameters
Knowledge of contaminated land investigation would be of value.
