Requirements of Data Analyst / Statistical Developer:
Strong understanding of statistical techniques applied to data analysis.
Strong analytical reasoning skills
Script data extraction, manipulation and analysis for production data
Scale processes for ever increasing production data
Proficiency with at least one statistical computing software package
Prior research experience involving data analysis at the undergrad or graduate level in Education, Linguistics, Psychology, Public Health or Economics
Bonus Points:
Knowledge of early reading development, psychometrics, and/or educational psychology
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL with analytic features
Be able to write a script Python or Ruby for data analysis as well as create web services for internal use
Do all the necessary data manipulation, cleaning and analysis in a R script, writing reusable functions and packages
