Fast paced major food manufacturer, located near JFK Airport, looking for a Maintenance Mechanic with previous experience. The applicant will perform general preventive maintenance tasks on food equipment and the building, in addition to daily machine break-downs.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Preventive Maintenance on operating machines/equipment.
2. Troubleshooting and repairs of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Boiler and HVAC. PLC knowledge a plus.
3. General Building Repairs (Dry wall, Doors, Windows, Sheet Metal, Plumbing and Electrical)
Position Requirements:
1. Must speak English. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
2. Must be able to work Monday thru Friday from 9am to 6pm with flexibility in hours schedule.
3. Must have flexibility to perform varied job tasks and some scheduled overtime on the weekends.
