We are currently seeking a motivated person with Linux server administration and management experience. This position requires a candidate with in depth knowledge of Linux, PHP, Apache & MySQL. A Bachelor`s degree in a technical field related to the position or relevant work experience is required.
The successful candidate will have:
. The ability to manage and prioritize a variety of projects for a group
. A working knowledge of Linux operating systems
. Experience with Apache and MySQL
. Knowledge of OSI model layers
. Knowledge of a variety of application layer protocols including but not limited to SSH, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, HTTP, FTP, rsync and TFTP
. The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot both network and system problems
. Programming experience in PHP and Shell scripting
. Experience with Nagios, MRTG, Postgres and/or Tomcat a plus
. Experience with Plesk, DirectAdmin and other Linux administration control panel software a plus
. Knowledge of Windows operating systems a plus
. Perl and Python experience a plus
