ENTRY LEVEL SALES ASSISTANT NEEDED FOR TOP RANKED MORTGAGE TEAM
JOB DESCRIPTION
A top ranked mortgage team based in Park Slope, Brooklyn is seeking a full-time career-minded
ENTRY LEVEL SALES ASSISTANT
to help with sales/marketing and administrative tasks. There is a lot of upside potential for a candidate that makes the most of this opportunity over time, so we are seeking someone who is looking for a long-term commitment to learn the business. It’s an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who will make the most of the growth opportunities within the team.
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills, upbeat self-starter with a “can-do” attitude and no ego
- Extremely detail oriented, thorough and organized
- Able to multi-task and adapt within a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel) and/or Encompass Loan Software
- College degree or experience in Marketing/Sales or related fields and/or previous mortgage experience is a huge plus
- Availability to work long hours as needed (including some weekend days)
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
- Produce sales materials for the team’s clients and referral sources
- Prepare weekly team reports
- Participate in team marketing initiatives including strategy and implementation
- Enter new loans into loan origination software
- Answer phones for team lead
- Manage data entry of new prospective clients
- Doing whatever the team needs you to do to succeed

The company is a well established mortgage brokerage primarily servicing affluent areas of Brooklyn and Manhattan. The team is an energetic hard-working group that is willing to do whatever we need to do to get things done and keep our clients happy. We work very hard, but we make sure to enjoy ourselves at the same time.
COMPENSATION
This is a full-time salaried position paying between $28,000 and $30,000 annually, depending on experience
