We are seeking a Well Organized, Hardworking, Responsible, Enthusiastic, Result Driven, Team Player to help Lead our Receiving/Quality Control Team in our all-natural specialty food company. Ideal candidates will possess 2-4 years of prior food industry warehouse/shipping/Quality Control experience.

Our office is located in the wholesale culinary capital of the United States in Eastern Bronx, minutes from Manhattan near the #6 train.

Receiving and Quality Control Team Leader:

Your responsibilities will be diverse and you will work with the best, interacting closely with key individuals within each of our departments. You will help Lead our 1st shift beginning at 5:00 AM, flexibility will be key, as hours and responsibilities may vary due to the nature of a growing progressive business. Knowledge and experience, in the food industry, and Distribution/Logistics is required. Basic computer skills and being bilingual (English/Spanish) are essential skills necessary for this position. The inherent versatility this position requires will make only the highest level of organization, cooperation and communication keys to success. The work is hands on and requires heavy lifting and careful attention to detail, you will primarily work in our warehouse/cold storage environment. Your primary task will be to help Lead our Receiving and QC Team receiving trucks and keeping our warehouse in top shape each day on the 1st shift.

Requirements:

~ Strong leadership and team build mindset (yes we noted this one twice on purpose!)

~ The ability to motivate a team of 10, to succeed as one

~ Open mindedness to learn, coach, be coached and grow within a growing company

~ Computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook

~ Proficiency in written and verbal communication

~ Positive attitude and happy disposition, grouches need not apply

~ Bilingual is an absolute must

~ Drivers license required

~ Bachelor’s or Associates Degree preferred but not required
