Art Collective CIRCULAR FILE seeks interns to assist with production of cable access TV show for PERFORMA09
New York based media/TV/video collective Circular File seeks creative, professional, and responsible interns to work as production assistants on a 3 episode TV show commissioned by the PERFORMA09 biennial, to be broadcast on MNN (Manhattan Neighborhood Network) during the biennial. Finished video will also be streamed on a dedicated website and youtube. We have a green screen studio in Chinatown and have invited a number of artists working at the forefront of video to join us in making a TV show. Interns will work very closely with artists and assist with video production, shooting video, minimal set design, photography, casting, etc.
This is not the kind of arts internship that will involve filing, labeling folders, or stuffing envelopes. You will meet and work with really interesting multi-disciplinary artists and gain invaluable experience in art production.
Experience with video or film or photography will be very helpful.
Interviewing now. Internship would start almost immediately and continue through November.
