Looking for bike messenger postion with a busy Messenger company that has been in business forr over 20 years. While experiennce is not necessary for this position knowledge of Manhattan is. This position may go longer however at this time we are looking to hire specifcally for the Holiday season coming up,so figure at least until December 25,2009

EXPERIENCED BIKE MESSENGERS approximately 8 in total, to clarify experienced, at minimal 1 to 2 years with another messenger or delivery company. You need to have your own bike and lock, and bike helmet is a requirement of the job.

Lastly Independent Contractors (drivers with your own vehicle)

Looking for drivers that have commercial plated vehicles full size van or minivan,as well as others with out commercial plates. You may be delivering anything from paychecks to books, garments, other boxes, etc.... we are a messenger service company.

Other Requirements of the job are;

Metro Card for Foot Messengers

Black pants or shorts for ALL

Also please bring a VALID not expired government or state issued ID.

Your social secutity card

Work authorization docs if not a citizen

For Independent Contractors (drivers)

Insurance Declaration Page bearing your name as a covered driver

$100K/$300k Bodily Injury coverage on your vehicle policy

$100k for property damage

Vehicle Registration

Social Security Card

Valid Resident Alien Card if applicable

Valid Driver License

Applications will be accepted in person tomorrow 9/9/09 and Thursday 9/10/09 from 9am to 12pm both days, THIS IS A FIRST COME FIRST TO BE HIRED IF YOU ARE SELECTED, SO ARRIVE EARLY.

Part Time Position salary ranges from $200-$350 /wk depending on flexibility and how well you do the job.

Full Time Position can be from $350- $1200/ wk also depending on flexibility of hours worked, area which you work in and type of vehicle. Again if you`re interested please bring the required docs and come in person, preference will be given to those who come in person prepared with all documents necessary. If you do not meet the insurance coverage now you will have time to increase your limits should you be selected and decide to move forward.

There is parking lot located next to the office pay at your own expense otherwise take the subway, best is A,C,E to 42 St, we are located at 334 W39th St between 8th & 9th Ave.
